 We are a coed, independent, Preschool through Grade 8 day school.

Is there any religious affiliation?

No, we do not have any religious affiliations.

What accreditations and affiliations does Kent School have?

We are accredited by the Association of Independent Maryland Schools (AIMS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

What is the total number of students in the school?

Our student body is made up of 144 students.

What is the average class size?

The average class size is 15.      

What is the ratio of students/teacher?

We have an 8:1 student to teacher ratio.

Do you offer financial aid?

Yes, we award close to $325,000 a year in financial aid.

Are the books supplied by the school?

Yes, however the cost of some books are part of the consumables bill.

What extra-curricular activities are offered?

We offer chorus, after-school enrichment programs and interscholastic sports.

Do you provide transportation/is transportation available?

Yes, transportation is provided by Kent School buses. Please see the forms link for more information.

Do you have after school care? Before school care?

Yes we have both before and after school care. Before school care is provided starting 1 hour before school starts. After school care is provided and runs from 3:30 until 5:30 monday through Thursday and from 2:30 until 4:30 on Friday.

Both are available on a drop-in basis.
