Nancy Mugele, Head of Kent School said, “We are delighted that Ruby is returning to Kent School to share some of her educational and professional experiences with the members of our Class of 2023 and everyone attending Graduation. When I contacted Ruby to ask her to speak, she said she would be happy to. In fact, it was her teachers at Kent School who inspired Ruby  to develop her writing skills and find her voice through writing.” Mugele continued, “I am happy that Ruby will be able to reconnect with some of her Kent School teachers at Graduation. I am sure it will be incredibly rewarding for those teachers.”

Each year, Kent School celebrates its graduating class with a ceremony that features student speakers and a guest alumni speaker. Nancy Mugele said, “We try to select an alumna or alumnus to whom students can connect. Our graduates and alumni share the same school traditions and memories but our alumni have  moved on to purposeful careers and life experiences. We hope that our graduates can see themselves on different paths to success and be inspired by the accomplishments of our guest speakers.”
