  • Administrative Assistant

    Kent School is seeking a friendly, organized and flexible administrative assistant who can handle an array of responsibilities in support of the school. Duties include administrative support to school leadership, managing the front office, greeting visitors, answering phones, communication with employees and parents, maintaining student records, general Business Office tasks, coordinating school transportation needs. Discretion, independent judgment and confidentiality are required. Opportunities for professional growth for a candidate who is interested in learning new skills.

  • Part-Time Boys' Physical Education Teacher

    Kent School, an independent day school located on the bank of the Chester River in Chestertown, Maryland serving girls and boys in Preschool through Grade 8, seeks a part time Middle School Boys’ Physical Education Teacher.
     
    The Middle School Boys Physical Education teacher is responsible for developing in each student an understanding of the relationship of health, wellness and exercise; to motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness; to discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement; to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability.
